Ellerbe Beckett was an American architecture firm founded in 1909 by Franklin Ellerbe in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Over the years, the firm expanded and became known for designing a wide range of buildings, including educational facilities, healthcare facilities, sports stadiums, and corporate offices.
Some notable projects designed by Ellerbe Beckett include the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis, the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota, and the Yas Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
In 2009, Ellerbe Beckett merged with AECOM, a global engineering and design firm, and became known as AECOM Ellerbe Beckett. Today, the firm continues to operate under the AECOM name and is known for its innovative and sustainable architecture projects.
